1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of myAISkills, including the website at https://myaiskills.co.za, learning tools, quizzes, content, memberships, and related services.
myAISkills is operated by Thakhutse Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using myAISkills, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who may use myAISkills
You may use myAISkills if you can form a binding agreement and are not prohibited from using the service under applicable law. If you use myAISkills on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. The service
myAISkills provides practical AI skills education and related tools. Features may include quizzes, learning paths, prompts, workflows, community or programme materials, publishing support content, and account-based progress tracking.
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features reasonably as the product develops. We will aim to avoid unnecessary disruption where practicable.
4. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, create security risk, or abuse the platform.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use myAISkills unlawfully, fraudulently, or in a way that harms others;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems, accounts, or data;
- upload malware, scrape the service aggressively, or disrupt platform operation;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation;
- use myAISkills to generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, or infringing content;
- resell, reverse engineer, or exploit the service except as expressly allowed;
- submit other people’s personal information without a lawful basis to do so.
6. Learning content and AI outputs
myAISkills provides educational content and tools intended to help you build practical AI skills. Content is for learning and professional development. It is not legal, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice unless expressly stated.
AI-assisted outputs can be incomplete or incorrect. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them in real work, study, business, or publishing decisions.
7. Your content
You retain rights in content you submit to myAISkills, such as prompts, notes, and artefacts, subject to the licence below.
You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, process, display, and use your submitted content as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and to provide features you use.
You confirm that you have the rights needed to submit that content and that it does not infringe others’ rights.
8. Our intellectual property
myAISkills branding, software, course design, site design, documentation, and platform content are owned by us or our licensors. Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary materials except as allowed by the service features or with prior written permission.
9. Paid plans and fees
Some features may require payment. Prices, billing periods, and inclusions will be shown at purchase. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly offered by us.
If payment fails or a subscription lapses, access to paid features may be suspended.
10. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in the myAISkills Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge that policy.
11. Third-party services
myAISkills may integrate with or link to third-party services, including authentication providers, payment processors, hosting providers, and social platforms. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
12. Availability and support
We aim to keep myAISkills available and useful, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, outages, and force majeure events may affect availability.
13. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, myAISkills is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, except where such disclaimers are not allowed.
14. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of myAISkills.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the 3 months before the claim, or (b) ZAR 1,000, except where liability cannot be limited by law.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of myAISkills, your content, or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own unlawful conduct.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using myAISkills at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if needed to protect the platform or other users. Provisions that should survive termination will continue to apply.
17. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice where practicable. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts of South Africa have jurisdiction, subject to any non-excludable consumer protections that apply to you.
